1998 vtec ECU P6G

ECU 1998 vtec
I have a 1998 vtec with ECU 37820-P6G-X01.
I cannot get any info on this unit. The problem is that one of the zener diodes has burnt and the vehicle does not start. i cannot see the values of this diode and noone seems to know this.Is there someone that can help

Is there a replacement for this unit that would give the same performance if not better.

It's interesting to see what differences happen around the world.

There is a p30 from the usdm del sol vtec that came wit the b16a2 that might work with your car. I've never ever heard of the Ballade before this post! But it seems to be equivalent to our civic line up.

1997 was the last year before the obd2b switch (99), and the del sol here in the states was the only thing at the time with a b16a in it:

it is pricey, though, and very rare to find used.
