Have a 1999 Honda Civic EX Coupe with NO giddyup. looking to drop a different engine in, any suggestions are helpful. Also intend to get an exhaust kit, intake, and all that other good stuff. if you have any suggestions on that as well i would sure appreciate it. Thanks

i live in san diego, cali. i got about 5G's at the moment but am willing to put in more if its worth it. i would rather spend more to get the best than to half ass my ride

ive been suggested:
b20 with b16a2 head
H22A4(Prelude)
b18c1(GSR),
b18c5(Type R)
k20A2(Type S)
K20Z3(Si)

K24A4(TSX).
ive even been suggested a LS7, according to him he fit it in his '96 but im not believing it. im looking for lightweight without giving up too much power.

You can put a LS7 in one but your gonna need way more than 5 grand... The K swaps are gonna be close to 7-8 after your done... Best bet for excellent power and reliability is the B18C5 as long as you get the TYPE-R tranny with it...

Yea id go with the b18c5.. thats about 185hp and 130ft-ibs of torque!

or!

F20b swap (pretty much same engine as the H22)
that will leave you with a lot of money for other great things! plus you'll have about 200hp and 145ft-ibs of torque!

JDM F20b (similar to H22)
Price: $549 (Engine)
Horse Power: 200 HP @ 8000 RPM
Torque: 144 LBS-FT @ 5500 RPM
-----------------------------------------
B18C Integra Type-R
Price: $3,799.00 (engine, Tranny & ECU)
Horse Power: 200 HP @ 8100 RPM
Torque: 134 LBS-FT @ 6200 RPM

I'm a bit tired i hope all of this was correct!
