Okay am posting this on behalf of a firend who is wanting to buy my 2.3 engine form my conversion to vtec and is wondering what is involved with this transfer could some off you give some pointers

What year? What model car with 2.3?If it's an Accord/Prelude He would have to buy a mount kit Hasport, Enjo, and a couple other companies make them. Depending on the year of both cars the amount of wiring can be easy, or difficult. Some minor modification to use the cable linkage from the 2.3, along with other minor details.

the mounts for the H22 (whats in your car now) and the H23 (the engine you pulled are the same. Hasport makes mounts for just about every year civic. You are going to have to order the right mounts and hopefully your friend knows enough about wiring to have everything else fixed up. The wiring is going to be the tricky part after you get the engine and tranny mounts
