Hey i have a friend with a 89 civic si....he needs to know what is the biggest engine he could put in there with no major mods....he is lookin 4 the 1.8 can that be done easly......and what needs to be done...!!! plz help.......

2.

i have a 93 civic and wanted to know the same question.....what engine could i put in......

or have any other recomendations....

we are both street racers ...not track racers.......what would be best 4 us....

any b series swap will work without too much modification.


your's will be easier being that it is obd1... but your friends will require a little more wiring work in order to make the obd0 car run an obd1 1.8L engine..

if you have the bank roll... get a b18c1 but if not.. get a b16 or an LS
 
You can stuff a H series into your 93 bay but for your buddy I would say B series. The B18c is a little taller than it's younger cousin.
