I have a 2000 civic ex with a 96-98 B18c5 swap. Currently i am running a p2t ecu out of a 99-00 civic si. I do have the p73 ecu and I am wondering what all is needed the install the ecu. Is all I need is a jumper harness from obd2b to obd2a? I have read a few forums stating that the vtec control wire needs to be hooked up. Is this also true?
The car is currently running very off. Horrible gas milleage, and its rich, burning alot of unused gas out the exhaust and backfiring with flames, kinda cool but not healthy. Let me know. Thanks

convert to obd1. all your headaches will go away :D
get an obd2b-obd1 conversion harness from www.boomslang.com and pickup a p28 ecu from any manual trans 92-95 civic ex/si. then have it chipped for b-series. all together it shouldnt cost more than 4-500 dollars and you will make more power obd1 and have further tuning capabilities later down the line.
