hey guys I'm new here and not very knowledgeable on Hondas, I got a worn crank on my 1.7 and was wanting some advice on whether I should replace the crank, block or just get a new motor...? Any good word on this will be appreciated.

    Welcome to HondaSwap
First things first, how bad is the damage? Also, where is it located on the crankshaft? Have you had a machine shop inspect the crankshaft?
If the crank is worn too badly, you'll probably need at least a new crankshaft and some bearings. The block should be ok as long as the damage isn't too severe.

Pics would really help in this case. You're a greenhorn so you can't host them here, but if you host them elsewhere (imgur, photobucket, etc.) and then link them here, I'd be happy to take a look and give you my opinion on the damage.

    Welcome!

Make sure to check prices on low-mileage junkyard engines... quite often they'll be a LOT cheaper than a rebuild.
