2001 prelude

    i just bought a '01 prelude. right now it has a h22a1 i have been trying to find out if there is a more powerful engine i can swap in but cant find anything i hope someone can tell me something

    You wont find a more powerful engine for the prelude other than the one it has. Unless you want the JDM Type S engine that has 20 more horses. IMO its not worth the cost of the swap

    if you have an 01 with an h22a1, the last owner already blew the first engine that was in there. there really isnt a better engine to swap in, but you can build up your current engine.

    for an insane n/a build, you can get some jdm h22 type-s pistons, drop down to a single layer head gasket, go with some big cams and a port and polish. After that, tune and complete.

    that it is...its a closed deck block compared to h22a4's open deck :)
