Well, one more year is about to leave us...and a new year is about to join us....

Let us reflect on the important event's that shocked our lives this year.



For me, I got transfered from the hanger to the composites lab....better than getting laid off, and I like it there.
The wife finally got the guts to go travelling with out me, all the way to Japan and back, got some sweet shit BTW...
Got more cars, and blew up many other cars.... CRX, Supra...kaboom.
Made more freinds, had a blast, went places, had fun.
Had a grandfather-in-law die, but found out how great of a man he was, and I was amazed at the respect that he recieved at the various cerimonies held in his honor.
I'm still shooting on trying to get a house or a garage, no luck yet. Another year with no car accidents, so I'm happy.
I built up a few project's and they ran. except the MR2...


I had a good year...not the best..but still it was a good year.


How was your 2003 Year?
 
Didn't get didly done on the Civic except collect a bunch of new parts.

Paid off 50% of my total debt. Makes building my cars much easier on the wallet.

Put a new motor in Smokey. It went it's first 1500 miles EVER without having to add oil. I mean EVER, too. Like in the 7 years that I've owned the car! She runs much better, too. over 20 HP more than the old motor, dyno proven.

I got Smokey on all the same wheels for the first time in 3 years. I always had mix-matched 4 lug/5 lug on the front and rear.

Swapped carpets in Smokey, and started updating the interior to pretty black instead of old and busted tan.

Got a parts car for my Sentra bought. As soon as the engines are swapped out, and the car runs and drives good, I'll put the Mustang in the garage, and the Sentra will be put into daily driver mode with a big for sale sign in the window. $2500 or bust! :)

Got a NICE apartment with the girl. 2 BR 2 bath, 2 car garage with a driveway of our own, so no more parking lot door dings! We even have a water spigot! Too bad it's turned off because of winterization. My car needs a bath BADLY. :(

Finally made up my mind to settle down with Heather. She's a great girlfriend to me, and she has made an honest effort to make me feel more comfortable in the thought of being with her for a long long long time. I think I can handle it. ;)

2003 was a pretty good year, I guess.
 
got the sol built :)
started racing :)
made some new friends :)
had to finally get a job :(
 
03:

- started shitty, i wasl iving at home with my dad, what an ass. got shittier, i broke his knee and then

- moved to texas, wow, what a fucking mistake. met some great ppl, some of who i wish could be up here with me, chillin, drinkin, etc.

- moved to indiana.. wow, its so nice up here, a little cold, but i just like the realness of it all. No more big city life, etc. Chillin with my 2 bro's..

- out job hunting and hoping to get one, soon.. like NOW! :D

- finally realized sarah is the one, i was the happiest with her, everyone saw it. Just sucked it took 9 months of being apart to realize that (stupid me)

04:

Well i hope 04 is a good yr for me, i wish to

- start back at school, get that over with

- get moved into a perminant place somewhere (hopfully VA)

- start a normal life where i know i'm staying at that spot for more then acouple of months.
 
its 3am...and yes, i cant sleep and im on hondaswap.com.......no fucking life i tell ya...

03....

got my civic in feb....

met my ex in march...whirlwind romance for a few months....

installed my turbo in june, first day of summer...

broke up with my ex the same exact day I blew my motor....

wow, nothing important really happened to me in 03.....what a waste.


my new years resolution is to....do something more worth while....than just school, chick and work.
 
wrecked 2 cars - crx by headgasket then offroading, civic by rollover
bought drove and sold a 240sx, now building up a mitsubishi mirage.
ive spent ~15k on cars and parts since i bought the civic, luckily i made a good amount back.

got a job at a great fiberoptics plant and made advances quickly... applied to start online schooling mid-jan and knock out some more credits for my major.

had the same girl for over a year.

still living at home.

made tons of new friends, fell in love with racing all over again....
 
This year...wtf...?

-continued working for my dad
-got another job to move out
-bought a car instead
-got a letter saying the asshat is sueing my insurance agency over the accident of 3 fucking years ago
-got in a stupid ass fight with my dad
-quit my dads
-quit the other job
-brought bobby up here
-sittin here tryin to figure out what the fuck this year was about


Maybe 2004 will be better. 2003 sucked in the long run
 
2003 for this piece of white trash involved the following:

-worked alot of god damn hours at work
-meet some new friends
-helped a buddy of mine work on his lowered Nissan 720 pickup truck
-partied down at Indy Truck Bash this year...that was fun as hell!!
-got my own apartment now with more space
-bought James' (revolution8k) 1992 Ford Escort GT off of him...thanks bro! :thumbsup:
-got 1 ticket :(
-helped my friend Vonnie out with her marriage and her separation shes going through <_<
-bought an Integra earlier this year and sold it...but i am owed money on it STILL!! :angry:

thats about it for me!

for 2004, i plan on getting my drivers license back and move back to Virginia by Summer time.
 
03' started off:

-started my last semester of college, graduated with two degrees, 2 BBA's.
-had no girlfriend, no cellphone, no job, and a pos civic that I would beat the shit out of



NOW:

-saving up for graduate school and a new S2000
-have a girlfriend, cellphone, and a new job
-bought a project 240, that is pimp and love it.
 
-Traded a rusted turbo Si hatch for a '92 Celica AllTrac that came with a new motor, $1600, and four new tires.
-Moved to Oregon.
-Bought a big ass tool box.
-Bought a shitload of tools.
-Picked up a '77 Civic 1200 project car
-Got a job at a ski resort where I met a ton of cool people.
-Got evicted on my birthday.
-Got some great news just last night about my video game company, www.nesteggstudios.com.
-Am engaged to my Peruvian Princess.

Blew up the Civic's B20/VTEC
Went through a lot of rental cars
Bought a CRX
Blew the CRX's coolant system, then fixed it
Blew the CRX's head gasket, replaced it
Spent too much money keeping the CRX on the road
Lost the job I hated
Spent too much money rebuilding the Civic
Moved to Austin
Drove the Civic for a month
Destroyed the Civic's new GSR build
Got a job back at school
Blew up the CRX's engine for the last time
Applied to grad school
Bought a Nissan Hardbody
Spent $1200 getting the "reliable" truck to be roadworthy
Had a nice poor Christmas

Yup, lots of blown up cars and lots of money gone down the drain. Oh well.

- i have had the same job for over three years!

- got passed up for a promotion

- 1st part of year i got with as many chicks as i can

- I hit a big fucking deer with my civic

- I got a girlfriend lasted a month

- won 5 grand on scratch ticket

- used 5 grand to fix civic

- i bought a 500 dollar dodge colt to use as winter car and beatter till civic got fixed
- got civic back tranny went out

- took two months for tranny, timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket and spring and struts put in.

- got civic back and then colt broke down

- moved out of the apartment i lived in for 6 years to a house with some friends

- i got stuck in my long ass drive way tons of time

- i got my 1st speeding ticket :(

- got shit for x mas

- still living
 
Well...we can all look back and reflect on how this 2003 year went....and give it the bird...it's almost over.

2003 for me....

i don't even know where to begin... i can't even remember half of this year....

lets see...

-hooked up with a black chick
-bought a 240
-started project POS
-began hating hondas
-began hating aftermarket companies
-began hating parts stores
-went through some crazy relations with women... but that will never change
 
2003...lets see....
-good year
-finally got a motor swap and turbo'd it
-made alot of money
-spent most of it on the damn civic
-still in school(sux)

all in all good year. no complaints here. B)
 
Not too bad of a year...

-Got a new job after being out of work for quite a while... Highest paying one ever, too. :)
-Found a near-mint no-rust 86 CRX for doing the B18 swap instead of the 86 Civic, I'll rebuild that one for autocrossing now.

....that's about it, but still not bad :)
