I want to do an engine swap but am not really sure where a good place it to look for it. I am not going to be racing, but the stock engine just isnt doing it for me. I am looking for something manual, that will give me a bit more speed and is not too pricey.

I completely agree. What you want to do is too much work and too expensive to be worthwhile. Why hack up a perfectly decent commuter car that would probably fetch a decent price on the market? Sell it and buy yourself something more sporty to start with. Look towards a TSX or a V6 Accord...

Well, techinically there ARE options with your car. You could swap heads with one of the more performance-oriented K-series heads (RSX, TSX, etc.). You can also swap auto-to-manual, you'd just need absolutely everything from the manual-transmission version of the car.

But like I said, once you add up the time and cost investment of all that stuff, it probably makes more sense to just sell the car and purchase a sportier version to start with...
