240SX or Impreza

since lately people have been asking opinions on what car to get, i may as well try as well

240SX
Pros: dad already agreed he'd let me get one. KA24DE is a great engine
Cons: cant freaking find one here.

Impreza L probably
Pros: AWD. Powerful
Cons: costs more

thats about it..any input would be helpful!

Well either way, get the Impreza. You don't see the older ones everyday, even less than 240SXs (that's the truth...at least in my town)

I'm with Milan on this one, 240 all the way.

You could buy a 240(S13) and buy a SR20DET clip, then buy minor internals all for the price of your impreza.

I agree with everyone who choose the 240. they're great cars if you can find them.

i had a 240. its not that great.

my vote is for the impreza... but what does the L series come standard with?

L was pretty much the lowest package i guess...and it still costs an arm and a leg (for me anyways)
standard package 2000 impreza L series with 40,000 miles = 8,920
95 240SX (S...13.5?) coupe with 100k miles = 4110
hell, an S14'd be cheaper than the impreza

whats with everyone and the SR20DET? its a great platform but that doesnt mean a KA24DE sucks ass
