3 Inch Exhaust

I was wondering if a custom 3in. exhaust would be too much for my Lude or would it just handle it fine?

For a stock engine setup, that's too big. If you're turbocharged or running a really aggressive all motor setup, then you'll be fine.

you can only open it up so much before you dont have enough back preasure and not enough back preasure means less power!!!!

Nope. Back pressure is a myth. You want smooth laminar flow at the highest velocity. Go too big and your flow slows down and becomes turbulent. Go too small and you restrict your flow rate. Back pressure is an incorrect term- ideally, you want NO back pressure.
