I wouldn't give him more than $1800 for it, and that's only if the body has NO rust, NO dings, and was very, very clean.

Around here...stupid city...I've never seen a Civic, no matter what year/condition/mileage for under $7k. Even for the base models with plastic hubcaps I still see rediculous prices on the windshield.

What are you doing, going and looking at Honda Certified/Brand New Vehicles?? No matter what year/condition/mileage??
Hmmmmmm, I would have to call on this one. Yes, I see people advertising rediculous prices on civics around here, like 4k for a 92-95 hatch, or 2500 on an 88-91, but I honestly doubt they are getting that. As for $ 7k?? Not too many older Hondas are worth that, and the fact that you've never seen a civic for less that that just blows my mind.....

it appeared to be the stock D16A6. He rev'd the car up to 8K a few times for me and it sounded really sweet.
