4 to 5 lug conversions question

What is the benefit of converting a 4 lug car to a 5 lug setup?

Bigger OEM brakes (easier to find rotors for ITR brakes if you have five lug. other wise you have to get re-drilled rotors from places like fastbrakes)

I thought it was mainly for not much other than changing to CTR or ITR brakes/wheels/etc... That and to show folks you've got an extra grand plus sitting around to buy it with

because it looks nice..!! LoL.. bigger rotors.. shorter braking distance..

I may be pulling this outta my ass but maybe the 5 lugs makes it stronger and spread out the stopping pressure put on the rotors than a 4 lug does? hahah maybe?
