4ws problems

    I have a 95 SiVtec and ive got a "fault code 28" come up (diagnosed by putting the ultra technical tool in the test wire, otherwise know as a paperclip) from what i have found so far i think my master steering sensor needs replacing but before i rip the old one out has anyone had the same or simmilar problem???

    this is a tough question!

    the EG was never released here with 4WS. it would be neat to have one, though!

    how is it controlled? electronically? hydraulically? are you low on fluid?

    Nah on the prelude its a motor unit that moves the rear wheels and im pretty sure its to do with the "master sensor" i got a quote from honda today for a replacement one it came out after tax at £376 (approx $700 USD) and for somthing thats about 2 inches by 3 inches i would expect it to be made of Platinum!!! but i think im gonna try and find a honda that someone is breaking and get the part that way, fingers crossed it will sort my problems, after that all i have to sort out is my arches as i think my 18"s may rub a little.
