The scientist who made the predictions retracted them yesterday, saw it on the news. He said it was due to faulty information, but he has been given credit for predicting 2 earthquakes, 1 in Japan and 1 in Spain. I'm glad he was wrong about this one though.

Aren't those too big to be called aftershocks?
 
That's what I thought. I was surprised to hear the news call them aftershocks, but that's what they said. :unsure:
