My plans are to bag it and drop my nova motor I have in it ( early 70 LT1)

Off to a good start! Whats the run down on that Nova motor?

Early 70's LT1 block 4 bolt main 350 bored out 30 over now its a 355
H beam rods
Speed pro power forged pistons (10.75:1 comp)
Forged steel crank
Clevite 77 race bearings
Chevy cast iron bow tie 2 heads ported and polished and gasket matched to victor Jr. Intake
Crane gold 1.6 roller rockets
Trw guide plates with arp studs
Waiting to get the head flowed to get the right cam.

Wanna get a 700 r4 and ditch the powerglide

Nice!

If you want over drive in that thing you should check out an Optishift controller and a 4L80E. Bullet proof combo.

:puke: I hope its just you. I know theyre not period correct but I like the later rally wheels with beauty rings. My dad stole a set off my brothers 71' Nova (mid-build) for his el Camino. But now he's rocking good ol' Torque Thrust D's

Thats a great start. My well built 355/700R4 combo would be awesome in that!

Haha, what do I know? It's a cool 'burban, I've actually never seen a 65' until now.

So I got my taxes back and now I have to choose between finishing the motor I have and installing it or getting my air ride ?

Does anyone know where i can get a good air ride setup for a good price? I called slammed specialties and its about 1700 bucks for a complete manifold kit with the bags brackets and everything I would need.
