Have a 95 civic ex with d16z6, the problem is when I turn the car on it automatically revs up to 6,000 rpm. There previously was a piece of rubber that had been stuck in the intake manifold. It was pulled out an when it was pulled the throttle plate was bent in the process. So I fixed the throttle plate and removed the intake manifold to make sure it was clean. Also tried to adjust the TPS, Ignition timing and still it does the same thing. Does anyone have any insight into the problem?
