i just bought a 75 civic 1200 and plan to do a motor swap what would be the best motor to put in the car and what do i need to do for drive axles thanks for any help

There aren't any "standard" swaps for that generation Civic- most of the installs I've seen are extreme custom setups with either a worked D series engine or a B series engine. Anything bigger just won't fit. Search around on the site- there are a few 70s Civics in threads with B and D swaps. The information is pretty hard to find though, and nobody who's a regular poster here on HondaSwap has done it.
