Our 84 Accord has a loose/stripped crankshaft bolt (it holds on the bottom pullley). My options seem to be limited on repairing the crankshaft, short of replacing the crank, or trying some method that may not work very well. Any suggestions on a swap? it has a 1.8L (ES code ) with single carb, 5 speed manual trans. I have located a couple of engines which are a good price but nobody knows if they will fit. One is a 2.0L for 84-85 Accord/Prelude, but it has dual carbs! I have also located a 1.8L for 84/85 Accord, but it is fuel injected.
