I have a 1984 CRX (DX?) with a 1.5 liter EW1.
Carbureted, CA emissions.
Basically, I'm not looking to make this thing into a racer, I just want to get alittle more "umph" out of it when I'm hitting the I-5.
I found a weber progressive carb kit for it online, but it isn't CA emissions legal.
I've also found headers, but again those won't work with the o2 sensor or the pre-cat.
I'm on a major low budget, but could use some advice.
Maybe eliminating some of the emissions for the new carb kit somehow?
Prehaps bolting up a header, elimnating the pre-cat and welding an inline up?
Any tips on how I would go about doing any of this or any other inexpensive tweaks would be helpful.
