ok... 1988 accord LXi i got for my sister yesterday...
started it with the booster box, all was well...
battery light on, so alternator prob not charging...
remove the jumper box, car idles, but touch the gas at the tach drops to 0, and it starts knocking like a mother fucker... it will not rev up at all...
put the booster box back on at it revs up like its brand new...
idleing at 750 = no battery light, rev over 1K, or touch the gas at all and the battery light comes back on...
i'm guessing bad ground, shot alternator, or alternator wiring/plug is messed up...
any thoughts..
