I have an 88 civic hatch with the original d15 (w/ 109k on it).. Its not starting and i cant find any info on this particular problem.. I dont really know what to look for..
When i turn the key the engine makes a whining sound, like it isnt getting any spark. i replaced the distributer rotor and the cap and still no change in sound. The spark plugs are new, but still no change. When i remove the spark plugs (from left to right, from distributer) the first plug, and the 3rd plug tips are damp with gas. the 2nd and 4th are not.
Im planning on swapping it, but i would like to be able to drive it until i have all my parts.
Thanx for ur help! Peace [IMG]
