anyone ever have trouble getting the fuel pump to kick on in accessory mode?

ok, Ive been known to be wrong about things before, but I was told that when you turn the key into accessory mode, you will hear the fuel pump kick in (initially when I finished the swap this was the case. We actually had to re tighten the fuel pump bolts because it was spraying, then we found that the injectors had to be cleaned cause they were spraying in accessory mode) but lets say I am completely off my rocker when you turn the ignition all the way on, nothing happens either. No fuel pump, no starter nothing... just replaced the interior and engine harnesses...
