How do you convert a d15 non vtec to vtec? Just basics not tech wise... so i can kind of get an idea.
 
Swap the head out for one from a VTEC-equipped D-series engine (D16Z6 for example). You'll also need to do some wiring and swap out the ECU for one from a VTEC-equipped car (or reprogram the stock one).

Search for info on "Mini Me" swaps, this has been covered many times...
