im new to the import scene but with the gas pricies its a must
i just bought an 89 crx si with d15 now but the guy has a d16a6 that has been punched .030 over and has a rebuilt everything, it also comes with a t25 turbo. i know i need to get it rebuilt and i need a few things such as a intercooler, wastegate, and a manifold but those things i know. the things i dont know is what i need to make it fit such as axles, transmission and the wiring harness. i need help!
 
D16A6 is the original Si engine for 88-91 civics and crx's

if you have an Si the D15 in there is a swap, but to answer your question the A6 engine will bolt right up to your existing tranny.
 
well i have been told that if i use the flywheel off of the d15 engine that i can bolt up any d-series motor to the d-transmission
and which would you use a d16 bored over or a b16?
 
^ exactly-everything from that car will work with that motor..
as for the turbo-do you have any experience with turbos/do you know what turbo involves?
