89 Crx with zingle cam zc

car is having major issues running, it will start sometimes, idle terrible, then turn off.
it gets spark to only cylinder number 3, timing was just set, brand new plugs tried a newer distributor but apparently its off of a B series, but all looks the same too me, help please.

Get a service manual with wiring diagrams and go over your electrical system? Swap ECU?

ive switched ecu.
its out of a 90 or 91 civic Si hatch if that makes a difference ?
im also told it could be cause i may have the Zc harness instead of the Si harness, not totally sure tho

Could be- most people install the ZC with the car's original harness and switch/splice/add wires. There aren't too many that need to be moved around from the Si harness.
