89crx si sohc vtec swap

a friend of mine wants me to do a swap on his 89 crx si. he has a d16a6 in it already and is wanting to put an obd1 d16z6 in it. i was just wondering what kind of wireing will be involved with this. he has the wireing harness and ecu for the obd1 engine. i never crossed the obd lines before but i figure it shouldn't be too hard just use the new harness right?

i have no idea why he is wateing his time and money on a sohc vtec instead of a dohc so don't ask

probably cause he could get possible 13's with it. as for the wiring i heard it is a complicated swap if you use the z6 harness, but it is much easier if you use the stock si harness and use an external v-tec controller. just search google on how to do the swap.

you going to have to get a obd0 to ob1 ecu adapter, to use you vtec dist.
