im going nuts with this car i droped a 95 sohc vtec in my 89 crx si and there is a spark only when the key is turn on not went its cranking and the is a code 15 , have the stock pm6 ecu and a apex i vtec controler help

Code 15 is not the ignitor...

Code 15 is faulty ignition output... it means the Distributor may be bad... the only way to tell is to check the reading on the all sensors in the Distributor. I got a code 15 on my integra a week later the distributor gave out and left me stranded 245 miles from home.

Hey man more then likely the bearing went out in the distributor and is dragging as it rotates which will cause a weak output. Pull the cap and cover off and see if you see a large amount of brown dust. That is usually the first sign. You can also pull it out and see if it turns smoothly. 9 times out of 10 that is the problem. Good luck
