8th gen si, spark plug removal

I'm trying to replace the spark plugs, its about that time. the plug boot is long and so far i haven't been above to remove it to get to the plugs because it bumps into the body of the car just above the motor. has any one actually changed these? what do i need to do to get the clearance so i can remove the boot and get to the plugs?

if theres nothing else in your way then you might just have to bend the boot a little bit to get it out just dont bend them too much otherwise youll mess them up
