I have recently purchased this car. The former owner could not get it to run correctly.

THIS WAS SWAPPED IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO.

------------UPDATED-----------------

I found more crap wrong then what I had 1st posted about.
Still no vtec, runs up to 4k then starts to bog and cuts out at 6k
Has oil, butterflies work, throttle body i cleaned by myself today,

Well I decided to look it all over again. I cant get it to say what code its throwing. It seems that some blind dumb ass did this swap. There are wires cut all over the place and tape...... there is about 2 whole rolls of black electrical tape under the dash.

I have decided to just start over and get a new motor harness. If at possible I want the harness under the dash that connects to the ECU also.

1st Im going to take the dash out and leave only the cluster so I have a speedo.

Ok more things I have found that are weird or incorrect.

The auto seat belts dont move.
The temp plug on the water neck doesnt have a plug.

If I run a chipped p-28 can I get rid of the whole EGR crap. Its the units behind a black plastic box behind the throttle body, above the charcoal canister.

2001 h22 long block
p28 chipped obd1 ecu
obd-1 dizzy
original harness from obd-1 accord motor
thats how
obd-1 345 peak and hold injectors

most the little sensors dont matter from obd to obd

Basically all you are doing is switching the motor itself. all the original sensors, wiring harness from the accord motor all go back in. Then use the p28 to bypass some of those pesky sensors to make it run.

I wish I would have done the swap myself instead of buying it.

This the wiring of the MAP sensor. I have recently found it is hacked at the ECU and wired direct to the sensor..

These are the 2 plugs I was asking about in my above post. Which one is used to jump the CEL codes??

This one?

Hey I got the cel to go away and vtec to engage. I found the stock MAP sensor behind that black thing. Its a rough ride but hey things are looking positive.

Cel comes back on from 30sec-2min though. Its late I havent checked what code yet. Seems to be dumping hella fuel cuz I can smell it.

Things to do...

check new cel code
raise car.... skunk2 coils all the way down... it slams hard over some bumps.

questions....

1 Anyone know how to check if I have 345cc injectors without sending them off? I dont know if the guy dropped the stock accord ones back in or actually bought the 345's. I doubt he did.

2 Anyone know how to "tighten up" the shifter cable? The shifter is real loose. When Im slamming gears I cant shift to 3rd. Its not that 3rd grinds, cuz it doesnt, its becuse it doesnt drop into gear all the way.

I dont have a clue why these usdm motors never came with lsd. this is sooo dumb.

1. the car wouldnt be running rich if you were using f22 injectors
2. the shifter cable is probably stretched out....time for a new one
3. obx lsd's are cheap....its what ive got...works great

Streched eh hmm ok ill start looking. I get a hook up at Honda so Ill just buy a new OEM one.

Ya I was thinking that about the injectors also.Supposedl;y the ECU has a type R chip in it. I bet its a cheap ass ebay one though..... ya I know scary crap

Woot its fixed. I found that the map on the firewall didnt have a vacuum hose to the manifold.
