OBD2 harness isn't plug and play in an OBD0 car. You will need to buy a conversion harness.
 
so is the obd0 harness only plug n play in obd0 car?
 
My cousin just dropped a B18B1 of a 98 teg. He's using PR4 OBD-0 ecu
and having a code 4 that doesnt go away and car bogs and backfires when he gets close to 3k rpms.
Could it be that his sensors are made or OBD 2 or is there something wrong?
 
just use the stock harness, a obdo pr4, some elbow grease, hasport mounts, hasport shift linkage... uhmmm... that should do it.

replace the timing belt, water pump, tensioner while the engine is out...
