91 CRX problems

    94 civic d16 zc engine into a 91 crx. everythings wired up eccept the oil pressure sensor. it fires up for a second but then dies can not get it to run. any things i need to double check the timings right.

    well what does it do if you hook up the sensor? check the plugs to se if it flooding the cylinders.

    its not pluged in because i have to extend the wires

    so you're saying your car doesn't run because you didn't completely hook up the engine harness?

    That a real vague question bro. First off hook up your wiring harness.

    timing maybe?

    turn it all the way back to the firewall and then time it after it starts.

    timings right it does the smae thing no matter what maybe bad grounds? or missing a ground? do you guys know where the grounds are in a d16 94 civic maybe im missing some

    These are your grounds:
    Tranny (from negative battery terminal)
    Engine (from T bar/head light bracket to valve cover)
    Wireing harness (near thermostat)


    I think what he's reffering to when he says Oil Pressure, guys, is his VTEC Oil Pressure?
    Is it the Green plug on the Passenger side of the head Icoy22?
    It will run fine without that plugged up, but you will indeed throw a CEL code. (#8 i think... i'm too tired to look)

    its actually 21 or 22, i think of them interchangabley
