Couple of shots of the car and some parts bought.

Prelude radiator hoses and heater hoses bought, pry bars for the axles and ball joint separator to make it happen, downpipe with catalytic converter from Prelude on the way saving up for the engine swap now

Gonna fix the tiny dings here and there, paint it S2000 canarie yellow, get some coilovers and sways, and 17's black with chrome lip, carbon fiber hood for style

Whoops those parts came from a 92 Prelude 2.2, just got refunded at Autozone and bought the radiator hoses from a 95 Prelude VTEC and the Honda parts dept. is closed for Labor day gonna go tomorrow and buy the heater hoses, downpipe and cat, and that round Prelude EGR connector. Then get the Rywire subharness to add the knock, IAB, and VTEC wiring and figure out the pinouts to plug them into.

That sounds like a decent plan. Now are those seat covers, or are the seats really that beat?

I haven't even looked under the seat covers but the guy who sold it to me said it's pretty gnarly. This is gonna be a show car, juiced with a 75-100 shot whatever the stock clutch can handle, and contrasted-colored (spell check?) bucket seats maybe sparco? momo? recaro? whatever looks the best at the lowest cost ;).

Ah, gotcha. If you're looking for something cost effective, Megan Racing makes seats now. I've used a bunch of their stuff (headers, suspension pieces, etc.), and it's pretty decent for the price...

Thanks I'll have to look into that, might be a while before I get to that point tho I'm working with McDonald's wages lol I'm just a Crew Chief in the middle, moving up to management soon so the swap is going to take some time but I also have a stellar credit score been building on it since I was 16 so I should be able to take out a loan and get the swap a little sooner than I thought.

I also need to borrow a hoist and somebody's garage or driveway because we can't work on cars here in the trailor parks my friend's garages are all used for storage or landlord won't approve of it so I still need to find somewhere to do the swap, when I did the D15B Vtec into the Civic a while ago I was in high school and the shop had lifts, hoists, all the tools.

Remember that kid 93civicracer with the D15B vtec swap? That was me when I was in high school and a noob now I have some experience. lol

Gonna try to run the extra vtec and knock wires the right way, like when I did my civic I put them thru the fender side and you could see the wires every time you open the passenger door that car was so ghetto and it was the ziptie king with the coolant reservoir, all headlights and corner lights held together with zipties lmao.

There's been a change in plans I WAS gonna sell my Grand Am for $3,000 in order to buy the swap, header, intake and exhaust and get this swap done quick since I was working with Mcdonald's low wages, however I just got hired as a Correctional Officer at a state penitentiary and will be attending a 7 week training academy and getting paid for it, so this project has been put on a temporary hold for now but I'll bring it back to life in a few months.

Ok, so change of plans bringing this back to life. The Accord will be a full on restoration rather than a race project, just H22 swap with I/H/E, new fuel pump and suspension etc. racing bucket seats, paint and rims, for a daily driver on THIS one.

Replaced the axles because they were ticking, still driving it around great gas mileage at 260k.

Axles removed:

New battery terminals, everything cleaned up and lubed, Autozone protected ;) :

Hey, when I put in the H22, it's gonna come from www.hmotorsonline.com and their engines average 35k miles. Does anybody know how to, or where I can go to have my mileage reading changed to 40k miles for the swap? Not gonna do it to lie and sell it, I just want to know for myself. And it will be restored, so it will only count for the engine anyway, the chassis and everything will be brand new.

Not going to happen. It's not legal. And really, why would you want or need to? Swapping engines, freshening up suspension, or painting a vehicle don't make it new. I'd much rather purchase a high mileage car with an engine swap that was well documented as opposed to a car that's had it's odometer tampered with.

Just make sure you right down the mileage at the time of the swap. That way you can always easily figure out approximately how many miles the engine has on it...
