I have an accord with a F22a6. and I am looking to put a little money into it for SCCA Autocross Solos.

Before everyone starts thinking that i know all about tuning and swapping.
Please dumb it down a bit for a guy who has just started into the tuning portion of cars.
But i do know quite a bit about cars so im not stupid.

What all can i throw into the engine(or anywhere else on the car), either bolt on or requiring a little bit of work, on a budget (300$ which i realize is pretty low). I already have a Short Ram intake on it and with a breather filter on the valve cover. and strut tower bars in the front and rear.

Things that probably need work are:
The exhaust system from the Manifold Back.
    The steering rack.
    Clutch.
    (Older Engine too.)
And just normal maintenence to keep it from failing on me. (which would be great if someone could just tell me a few things i could do.)

    Thanks!
    Andrew

Ditch the breather filter and just run a piece of hose from the intake pipe like you're supposed to. Other then that, I'd say a header and an exhaust system should be your next step. Those are the basic bolt-on items. If you want to get a little bit more in-depth, look into an intake manifold, a cam, some headwork, and tuning...
