I posted some of this info before, in the general section, and figured I would post some more info here. I blew the stock D15B8 in my daily driver on the way home from work. So I bought a new Civic HX. That left me with a large paper weight in my driveway. Well the time has come for me to rebuild her.
Here is what I plan on doing:
JDM D15B w/5spd manual (already purchased)
P08 ECU (already have)
Rywire vtec wiring kit
Still to do & will be searching the forum for ideas, but here is what I am thinking:
Suspension: H&R Touring Cup
Wheels: Kuhmo ECSTA AST (195/50/15)
Rims: Kosei K1 Racing Silvers
Radiator: Not sure yet

Other than that, I will stay stock (for now)
Any input/suggestions are welome and appreciated

I had overheating probs before the the orginal engine blew. When it finally blew oil, coolant & gas all mixed. When I pulled the resovoir tank, it so so full of sludge, I figured the radiator is the same way. Plus with the car being 14 years old, some of the fins are pretty screwed up. So, I have decided to go with a new radiator. I was think of just going with an OEM replacement, but ultimallty I would like an aluminum one, but they are pretty pricey. I have seen some on e-bay for under a $100, but you get what you pay for.
