Hi,

I picked up a wrecked 92 teg to put the engine in my 90. I am under the impression that the easiest way to do this is to remove the whole intake with injectors etc from the 90 and bolt this to the 92. Also replacing the distributor on the 92 with the one from the 90. Am I on the right track with this or is there something I have missed.

Also I will be using the 92 transmission.

Thx in advance,
Jason

Well,

I did a little more digging and found I can just swap the injectors instead of the whole intake. Also the oil temp sender from my old block will have to be transferred to the new block.

Any other info will be appreciated.

Thx,
Jason

and the 92 tranny uses a different clutch, just to keep that inmind

I looked that up and it seems that I just need a different clutch kit, I am replacing it while it is out. Am I correct in thinkingthat it isjust the internals and will stillbolt right in?

the 92-93 ls has a different number of splines one the input shaft, its the same as the 1.7 gsr uses the same clutch
