I just bought this 92 Prelude Si for $1,000 from this lady, the engine seized due to only having 1 qt in the crankcase.Its got the H23 in it, she took it to the mechanic and they took off the head to find the pistons are seized up in the motor. Its a pretty clean seize,
the block looks ok. I was going to buy a H22 and put it in. Can I bolt up that motor to the existing AT? Or do I need to buy a H22 with the AT? I also thought about rebuilding the H23 in the car. I dont know if that will be cost effective.Im just looking to get this car running again and not break the bank yet, thats for later. The body has 127K on it, this car is straight, clean title and I got a deal. I'll post pics within the hour.
