Alright, this has been happening now for about 6 months.

Upon releasing the clutch while getting going from a stop there is a whining/slipping noise. I am not sure if this is from a worn clutch or if it is something else. I was under the impression that when a clutch begins wearing out there is some slippage, so far it doesn't feel so much as if I am having any slippage.

There is no noise when the clutch is fully disengaged and no noise when it's fully engaged.

Thinking it might be a

Worn clutch
throwout bearing
or?

I usually only start in first gear so I'll have to try starting in second and see if that yields the same results.

Oh, I'm not really sure. It maybe, if it is I can't hear it. It really only seems like it makes the noise from a dead stop.

Maybe I just can't hear it over VTEC yo. Lol.

EDIT: Unrelated but when are you gonna move to the wet side of the state?

Hmm. How many miles on the transmission and how many on the clutch?

I don't think I'm moving over there, I just moved down to Moscow to finish my degree.

most likely throwout bearing or input shaft.
