Im workin on a 93 civic si w/b16 swap... its running off a jdm p30 ecu. the car bogs/ basically falls on its face at around 3000 and 58-5900 rpm. we are pretty sure its a fuel problem, but none of our fixes have fixed the car.. once u get to 6000 the car pulls REAL hard up to redline. so far we have replaced:
air filter
spark plugs
wires
vtec controller(tried giving more fuel-helped a lil)
fuel pressure regulator(to known working stock unit)
fuel pump(to 255)
checked timing(good)
checked tps sensor(good)
checked map sensor(good)
gas is 94 sunoco ultra(no water)
A/f gauge says its running stioich(or whatever that word for good is)
thinking of changing fuel injectors to type R 270's and filter, getting aem fuel pressure reg. and b and m fuel gauge....
-heres the weird part thats got me--we changed to a p70 or some jdm single cam vtec ecu, and the car runs alot better but still not perfect.
it sort of bogs/breaks up real bad...

hey buddy. Stop wasting time on all that, because time is money. Pay $60 to put it up on a dyno for 3 passes with an Air/Fuel gauge and your fuel pressure regulator and I bet for $60 bucks you improve your situation 3 fold.
