    I have a 93 civic VX.
I tried replacing my old O2 sensor but was unable to remove it. I did get it to budge a little but was unable to completely remove it from the car. when i turned the car on, the CEL came on. I did the ECU quick check and came up with code 48, which is supposed to be [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]the Heated oxygen sensor. I later that day was able to remove the O2 sensor and install the new one only to have the code continue. I reset the ECU but the codes still tripping. Has anyone come across this?

The aftermarket's sometimes will make the light come on because the computer does not work with the non-oem o2 sensor's well. It is the same with the cat conveter's too.
