I'm swapping a 95 gsr in my OBD I 92 teg. What I was told is that I could remove these secondary intake buterflies. Is this better. I was also told that only a OBD1 P72 will work with this intake manifold but if they were removed i can use others P28 etc. Please help. I also got a jdm tranny with A1 on the sticker is this the right tranny?....i still need an ecu so i'm wondering what would be the best route....will a B16 intake manifold fit?

A1 is a USDM Integra LS tranny from 90-91. Definitely NOT JDM.

You can run the GSR engine with any ECU, but how well it runs is up to the ECU.

I'd suggest a P28, and Hondata tuned to whatever intake manifold you decide to use. Skunk2 is at the top of my lists for the GSR engine, though. Dual runner is CRAP, and SUCKS when it's time to be removed if it's in the car.
