94 civic HB with B16

I put a 2000 b16b2 in my 94 HB CX every thing works but the speedo. How can I get it to work all the wires are hooked up but it doesn't work, I was told its because the newer speed sensor is a different Ohms or hertz or somthing like that. Is there a way to modify the new sensor with an older sensor

And no, they should be the same.

yah sorry typo b16A2 yah I converted my car to odb2

I'm running a 93' cx, with a 92'B16a SIR2(obd1) same problem, and it was the Vehicle Speed Sensor, plus I'm running a GSR dash which also had a bad connection(behind the speedo). That's what did it for me.

I'd put my money on the vehicle speed sensor and if you converted your car to obd2. Then get an obd2 VSS. Work the bug out dude cause your VTEC wont work.

My V tec works fine. the Vss is from the SIR so it would be a obd2 sensor
