94 D15B7 into a 96 Civic DX...how hard is it?

Friend has a 96 Civic with a blown engine. Also has a 94 Civic with a D15B7.

96 is a manual
94 is an automatic

both are non vtec

How do I get past the ECU changes? can the 96 ECU just plug into the 94 engine and work just fine or what?

i think you can do the swap, but you will need to use the '96 intake manifold, throttle body, injectors, and wiring harness.

but if you could figure out how to use the '94 intake manifold i think its better for top end performance.
