95 Civic (Host) 89 Prelude Engine Swap

I have a 95 civic ex that I want to do an engine swap. I have a prelude 2.0 si that I can get the motor tranny and ecu out of. What kind of motor is in an 89 prelude? I know the car use to haul ass and it is a dohc v-tec. I am pretty sure that it is a B-series motor. Does anyone know?

i don't think that a dohc vtec

its a b20... but its the abortion of all b's

not sure about this, but don't plan on having the mounts work out... i believe this motor is quite diffrent from other b series blocks...

I know the body style is quite different on this model prelude and the newer ones. I know that i use to frequently outrun v8's with that car. It was fast for what it was. I know the motor was dohc. Had to change the timing belt. As far as the vtec part i am not sure.
