ok so i picked up some jdm headlights but they are missing that round metal thingies that is supposed to cover the bulb. Is it necessary to have them. I also noticed that the lights dont provide good visibility at night at all. what to do?

do you mean u are missing the parabolic case? Cuz its no wonder you don't get any light. LOL

Put your damed USDM headlights back and realize you got taken on a set of broken ricelights.
