Hey guys here is what I got, I was having dizzy problems so I bought a new dizzy car ran but could ent set the timing correctly , it was all over the place. So then I noticed what sounded like a worn bearing noise from the dizzy. I took it off and found that the two nipples on the dizzy that go into the intake cam, one was broken off. K, got all the pieces out of the head they stayed isolated within the top right pocket of the head. So now I put the new electronics in the old dizzy body and now I got it running again. At idle I am hearing a tapping noise coming from the upper right section of the valve cover. I have not changed any parts in the head. Any ideas on what it could be? Tommrow I'm gonna try too swap dizzys but it sounds like the sound is coming from the intake cam on the dizzy side...
