TDC mark is set but when I use a timing light to look at the TDC mark it's too close to the front of the car. I decided push the dist. towards the firewall to advance the time but I can't get it close to where it's suppose to be. Someone tell me what is wrong? I mean the distributor is push as far as it's can go.

off a tooth...make sure it is exact....sumtimes when u put the timing belt back on the crank will move....make sure it is exact
