I have a 95 Prelude 2.3L that seems to have lost a bit of power whenever you go WOT. Whenever I am at a stop, the car shakes violently and the oil light comes on and off sporatically. I checked the oil level and it was sitting at a little bit below the bottom dot so I added some more oil to the car to bring it up but the light still comes on. Whenever you try to go WOT it sounds like something is rattling inside the engine bay - sounds like it is coming from the driver's side. I want to know how to do a compression test on this car to see if I have some internal engine damage.

To my knowledge you disconnect the coil wire from the distributor, hook up the compression gauge to the cylinder, crank the car with the TB open full throttle for 5 cycles. Do you have to pull any fuses for the fuel pump or injectors? If so, where are these fuses located.

Thanks,
