I am getting no spark after replacing the head on a 95 prelude si auto (h23a1). The motor thru a timing belt and mashed the valves, bought a 2nd hand head, had it built w/new valves etc... put it back together and there is no spark. I replaced the coil as the reading I got off it seemed bad but in hind site I believe adjustment for impedence on the meter was way off. Any help would be apreciated as this is all that is left for the job to be complete.

Will reseting the ECU help, how do you do that on a prelude?

check your fuse in your engine bay fuse box that goes to the ECU...and you could have a bad ignitor...take the coil that you 'thought' was bad....pry back the metal and if there are "hot spots (looks like burnt metal...if its there youll understand)"...then your ignitor is bad...check those 2 things b/c the same thing happened to me (minuse buyin a new head and bent valves and all that shit..lol)..hope this helps! :)
