96-00 header on a crx?

would a header from a 96-00 civic bolt up to the block on an 89 CRX si? im assuming that any d-series header would fit on a d-series block but i just want to be sure. i got the header for free and just want to put it to use...

It'll bolt up to the engine just fine, but it won't bolt up to the exhaust. The 88-91 Civic/CRX's had longer factory downpipes than 92-up's did, so a 96-00 will be a few inches short. This isn't a problem if you're doing a custom exhaust, but as far as bolt-on-and-go it isn't gonna be that simple.
